What is the ‘Free Boiler Scheme’?
The Free Boiler Scheme is part of the UK Government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) initiative. It’s designed to reduce carbon emissions and cut energy bills for eligible households across England, Scotland, and Wales by offering free or heavily subsidized boiler replacements.
If your Gas or LPG boiler is older than 5 years and you receive certain means-tested benefits, you could qualify for a brand-new A-rated boiler — installed by certified professionals at no cost to you.
